Model subscription revenue and churn together

Monthly gross revenue equals active subscribers multiplied by monthly price. Payment fees and fulfillment cost reduce the amount available to cover apps, support, acquisition and overhead.

Churned subscribers are estimated from the active base and monthly churn rate. Next-month subscribers add new subscribers after subtracting churn.

Use a consistent definition for active, paused, failed-payment and cancelled subscribers. Revenue recognition and cash collected may differ from this operational MRR estimate.

Run scenarios for price, churn and acquisition. Small churn improvements compound over time and can materially change future MRR.
